Student Voice

Thanks to Jeff Whipple on Whip Blog I discovered this site that is designed for students to have a voice in this Web 2.0 world. I read many of the posts - they are well written and contain insights important for us as we attempt to implement changes that serve students. Check it out and read some of the posts such as the Difference Between Teaching and Preaching and The World Won't Wait for Rome. The comments are also informative. This is a must RSS feed.

I'm going to enjoy this one. Thank you. In Courage to Teach Parker Palmer asks teachers to think about the role students play in their classrooms. I think most teachers would be disappointed with their response if they were to ask themselves whether they are flexible enough to adapt their lesson plan in the moment as students' needs dictate. As crazy as it sounds, there isn't enough room for students in our classrooms. Our vision for Classroom 10 Plus Tech will help us to change that. Students 2.0 is a great example of why we must and why we can.
